Set up a payment campaign

Advertiser payments management is now fully automated feature

This documentation explains in detail how payments feature can help you manage advertiser payments automatically. [block:api-header] { "type": "basic", "title": "How Payments work?" } [/block] Managing advertiser payments manually is not easy. If a campaign is set up by an advertiser to spend $20,000; the amount is invoiced and then collected after the campaign has ended. This could be days or a month or even longer. The campaign might end up not spending the entire budget allocated in some cases or the campaign may end up over-spending few dollars (due to pacing and budget feedback delays). This will require a lot of manual reconciliation usually for both advertisers as well as publishers (with direct-sold campaigns). With Payments, all advertiser payments are now automated. This is how it works. 1. Advertiser adds payment information as soon as account is setup 2. Advertiser will setup the campaign in the same manner as earlier, by setting up goals & budget for the campaign 3. As soon as campaign is approved for launch, the campaign budget is automatically deducted upfront from advertiser's account using the payment information provided 4. If the campaign ends up spending only a fraction of the budget allocated, the balance will be credited into advertiser account immediately. This balance can now be utilised to setup other campaigns. [block:api-header] { "type": "basic", "title": "Setup Payment Information" } [/block] Advertisers can set up payment information through their Account Settings page, clicking on "Add Credit Card" for the Payment Method. Advertiser can setup the rate & impressions that will calculate the budget required. This budget will be deducted from advertiser account upfront, when campaign is approved. Advertiser can see the available balance right below the budget field.
